- How does app blocking work?
- You choose which apps to block and how many cards you need to review each day. Slate uses iOS Screen Time to restrict those apps until you hit your card goal. Blocking is optional — the core flashcard features work without it.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Slate collects no analytics, tracks no behaviour, and sends nothing to a server. Your decks, cards, and study history are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
- How do I add cards?
- Open any deck and tap the + button to create a card. Enter the front (question) and back (answer) and tap Add. You can edit or delete cards at any time from the deck detail screen.
